Mrs. Wilcox - Art
Mrs. Wilcox teaches Art at OLS - Seton. She received her Bachelor's degree from Alfred University and returned to college at age 50 to obtain Masters in Interdisciplinary Curriculum from LeMoyne College (and to prove to her children that it's never too late to achieve your goals). Mrs. Wilcox has been an educator in the Broome County Catholic School system for 36 years.
Mrs. Wilcox presents a variety of art experiences to her students in a positive, exciting way; incorporating the core subjects into most projects. She believes this gives students a chance to imagine and express their ideas while learning about artists, styles, cultures and art procedures. Mrs. Wilcox believes that "it is truly a rewarding job to watch students grow in their talents and take on new challenges."
Mrs. Wilcox and her husband, a pilot who flies the military to Kuwait and Germany, have two children, a son 23 (finishing college) and a daughter 27 (working in NYC). She enjoys teaching, cooking, sewing and gardening.
