 OLS-Seton Campus Strategic Plan Update

Be a part of our school’s future! Planning volunteers are needed to update the OLS-Seton Campus Strategic Plan. This is a one-time contribution of time and effort, not a long term commitment

The Plan starts by assessing where our school is today in several key focus areas. We then set goals for where we want the school to be and the actions needed to us get there in the next few years. The strategic plan will also help identify the spending priorities to achieve these goals and is directly linked to our newly initiated Annual Fund.

Some of you may have worked to create the first Strategic Plan three years ago. That was a daunting task, starting from scratch. With that groundwork and some fresh ideas, we hope this plan revision won’t be quite so challenging.

Focus Areas of the Strategic Plan

• Catholic Identity of the School: How is the formal religious instruction program enhanced and expanded in our student’s daily lives?

• Ownership I Governance I Administration: How can the contributions of administration, faculty, and the OLS-S volunteer community be organized for maximum benefit?

• Enrollment: How do we maintain adequate school enrollment and encourage long term growth?

• Staffing: How do we ensure our faculty and staff have the training and tools they need?

• Curriculum / Programs: How can we make the education process more effective inside and outside the classroom?

• Technology: How do we maintain an up-to-date technology base and best integrate these tools into the classroom experience?

• Facilities: How do ensure the school physical assets are safe, functional, economical, and appealing?

• Finances: How do we manage our budget and sensibly allocate funds to appropriate spending priorities?

• Development / Public Relations: How should we market the benefits of an OLS-S education to prospective student families and the community? How do we solicit sufficient funds to execute our mission?

• The School in the Community: How do we interact positively with the community?
